Penfolds is known throughout the world as a maker of fine Australian wine. Now, visitors to the Penfolds Cellar Door in the beautiful Barossa Valley can become a part of this famous winemaking team with the introduction of Penfold's Make Your Own Blend tour.

The first of its kind in the Barossa, the Make Your Own Blend tour is an interactive and fun wine experience for anyone who has wanted to be a winemaker for a day. Following a walking tour of the winery and wine cellars, guests are invited to the Winemakers' Laboratory for a structured tasting through a range of Penfolds wines. After this introduction to wine styles and varietals, it's time to try their hand at making their own wine from Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre, like Penfold's own Bin 138. It's a fascinating and satisfying experience, blending to suit your own personal taste, and even more fulfilling to take the wine home, in a personalised bottle.

Penfold's Make Your Own Blend tour costs $45 per person and runs daily at 10am and 2pm. Guests are given a 20% discount on any further wines purchased during their visit.
