Discover Sensational Barossa!

Barossa Valley Day Tour Ex Adelaide

Saltram Penfolds

There's nothing better than spending a day discovering the scores of secrets and tasting the delicious delights of Australia's most famous wine region, but there are decisions to be made like choosing which wineries to visit, where to enjoy lunch, and who will drive. Now, Prime Mini Tours, one of Adelaide's most popular tour operators, has chosen some of the Barossa's (and Australia's) most famous wineries and experiences to bring you the new 'Barossa Valley Sensational' full day tour.

After collection from your Adelaide accommodation, the first stop on the day's itinerary is Penfolds Barossa Valley, creator of Australia's greatest wine, Grange. Here, guests have the opportunity to make their own wine while taking part in the Penfold's Make Your Own Blend tour. Guests even take home a bottle of their own creation to enjoy that evening. For lunch, Salter's Restaurant, located in the historic Saltram Estate Winery, provides a sensational luncheon selection for guests to enjoy. Guests can choose either a two-course lunch and wines from the Saltram Story tasting bar package, or indulge in a four-course dégustation menu including 5 specially matched wines.

Seppelt Wolf Blass

Wolf Blass is one of the Barossa's icons: famous throughout the world for its award-winning wines and superb hospitality. Here, at the Wolf Blass Visitor Centre, guests take part in an ultra premium wines tasting, held in a private room with an experienced wine educator. Guests also receive detailed tasting notes and a gift by which to remember their day by. As the day draws to a close, guests then visit perhaps the jewel in the Barossa crown, Seppeltsfield Winery. This historic winery, built in 1851, houses Australia's oldest collection of wines and here guests learn the fascinating history and stories behind this famous name on a walking tour of the winery and grounds, before indulging in a private tasting of wines including the Seppelt 21 Year Old Tawny.

Barossa Valley Sensational runs Wednesday and Sundays, with a minimum of 2 passengers, with other days available with a minimum of 4 passengers. Cost $188 per person (2-course lunch option) or $215 per person (4-course dégustation lunch option).
