With over a century and a half of winemaking experience, the House of Seppelt is extremely proud of its heritage and rich tradition. The historic Seppelt winery, located in Great Western is famous for its labyrinth of underground tunnels, called "The Drives", where sparkling wines have been bottle aged over the years, since 1868. Located in Western Victoria, the winery was purchased by Benno Seppelt is 1918. From that time, Seppelt helped put the Great Western region on the map for its magnificent sparkling wines and exceptional table wines, particularly Shiraz. The cellar door building is beautifully nestled in the historic Seppelt winery, set the backdrop spectacular surrounding vineyards.
